Task 1 - M1

Web 2.0 was created in 1990 and it allows users to interact through social media including Twitter and Facebook. A difference between the traditional World Wide Web and web 2.0 is that there is a better link between internet users, other users and content providers.

Blogs can be a discussion or informational page published on the World Wide Web which consists of posts where the most recent post would appear first. A blog is an interactive page which allows people to leave comments which could be seen as a form of social networking. Blogs can be personal; however they can be used as advertisement for a company.

Online Applications are used by people who are on the internet. These applications can mainly only be used by people who are connected to the internet.

Cloud Computing is the use of computing resources including hardware and software that is delivered over the internet. An example of cloud computing is Google drive. This involves uploading something into the application and this then store what has been uploaded and can be accessed from anywhere as long as you are connected to the internet.
